Squats

Tues, 4 Aug 15

Squats: 45x10, 135x5, 225x5, 275x5, 295x3, 315x2, 325x5x3

Added 10 lbs to the bar after last successful 5x5.  Working my way back up with triples.  It was a hard workout.  I didn't have any gas left in me for back off sets.  Didn't lift for the past few days as it was a long weekend and I was doing chores, chilling out, driving motorcycle, etc.  I have been doing my cardio and am on week 2, day 2 of C2-5K.

  1. I flirted with jogging for cardio but it was a lost cause with me. I can't run unless there's a ball involved or someone is chasing me. I think I might just do some kooky ball work instead.

  2. I tried all of the cardio types of weightlifting, ultimately it kept coming back to, ya gotta walk, bike, swim or some other boring type of time consuming exercise.

  3. I've been trying to do a little bit of those things you mention on my "off" days. Of all those things, I prefer biking.
